Paid plans include a 14-day trial with full feature access — no credit card to start. When the trial ends, subscribe to keep premium features or continue on the Free plan (1 project, core question engine, basic timeline).

Can I change plans later? + −

Absolutely! You can upgrade or downgrade at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately, and downgrades take effect at the end of your billing cycle.

What happens if I exceed my project limit? + −

You'll be prompted to upgrade to a plan with higher limits. Your existing projects remain safe and accessible - you just can't create new ones until you upgrade.

Do you offer discounts for students or educators? + −

Yes! We offer 30% off any plan for students and educators. Contact support with proof of enrollment or employment to get your discount code.

What payment methods do you accept? + −

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) through Stripe. We do not currently support PayPal.

Is there a refund policy? + −

Yes! If you're not satisfied within the first 30 days, we'll refund your payment in full. No questions asked.

What happens to my data if I cancel? + −

Your data remains accessible in read-only mode. You can export all your work at any time. We keep your data for 90 days after cancellation in case you want to reactivate.

Yes! Annual billing saves you 20% compared to monthly. You can switch between monthly and annual at any time.

What are AI credits? + −

AI credits are used for Nexa (our AI story coach) prompts. 1 credit = 1 prompt. You earn credits through milestones and can purchase more if needed. Unused credits roll over month-to-month.

Is there a free forever plan? + −

Yes. The Free plan includes 1 project, the core question engine, basic timeline, and 10 Nexa AI prompts per month — no credit card required. Upgrade when you need genre modules, unlimited projects, or series planning.
